Penerapan Metode Topsis Untuk Rekomendasi Promosi Jabatan Kepala Sekolah Tingkat SD di Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract

In the world of education, especially in government agencies, teachers generally rotate, transfer and promote positions periodically. If a teacher's work is good then the teacher will receive an award commensurate with his work, otherwise the teacher will receive a warning so that the teacher improves his performance. In determining the promotion of teachers who are worthy of promotion to the position of principal, of course they will go through various stages of the assessment process and administrative filings based on certain criteria or requirements that have been determined. However, the problem currently being faced is the result of filing values having the same weight, close to the same, even exactly the same, of course this will make it difficult for agencies to make decisions. Therefore, applying the TOPSIS (Technique For Others Reference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method to this problem is a more appropriate and effective way. The existence of a recommendation system for determining promotion to the position of school principal will be more effective in its use. The system trial was carried out by 2 (Two) system experts with a score of 100% or was in the very worthy category for development, while the system trial carried out by 2 (Two) users using PSSUQ got a score of 94.19% or was in the very category worthy of implementation. And the ranking results have been tested using Spearman Rank correlation and produced a value of 0.92, which means the TOPSIS method can be used to determine recommendations for promotion to the position of school principal.
